More than 80 children every week are being removed from their family and placed in care. That is more than 10 per day.

We are committed to ensuring that children and young people who have experienced trauma have a safe and secure place to live and are given the right support to help them heal and start their long journey to recovery. 

The number of children needing child protection services is increasing every year. We are working to provide early intervention therapy and identify more vulnerable families to then provide the right services at the right time, before it’s too late, because we know that children who are exposed to trauma and violence at an early age are more likely to face problems in later life. We need support now to empower children affected by trauma, protect those still at risk and ultimately give more children, young people and families hope for a big, bright future.
